The Bible Quiz is accessible at https://biblequiz.me and is designed to provide an engaging and educational experience through Bible quiz questions and answers, suitable for users of all ages globally.

2.1 Eligibility

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the Bible Quiz.

2.4 Public Leaderboard

Participation in the public leaderboard is optional. If you choose to participate, you will be required to provide certain information (see Section 3.2). Your leaderboard information, such as your name or alias and country of origin, may be publicly displayed. Users under 13 must have parental consent to participate.

2.5 Intellectual Property

All content, including text, questions, designs, and software within the Bible Quiz, is owned by or licensed to Lucuma Technologies Inc. and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Bible Quiz without prior written consent.

2.6 Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Bible Quiz at our discretion, without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

2.7 Disclaimer of Warranties

The Bible Quiz is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Bible Quiz will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lucuma Technologies Inc. shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Bible Quiz, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

3.1 Information We Collect

You may play the Bible Quiz anonymously without providing any Personally Identifiable Information (PII). If you choose to participate in the public leaderboard, we collect the following information:

• Name or alias (required)
• Email address (required for verification)
• Country of origin (required)
• Language of preference (required)
• Age generation (e.g. Gen Z, Baby Boomers, etc.) (optional)
• Gender (optional)

We also collect non-PII through third-party services (see Section 3.3) to analyze anonymous website traffic and improve the Bible Quiz’s performance. Additionally, we may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience (see Section 3.10).

3.2 Use of Information

The information collected for the leaderboard is used solely for the following purposes:

• Displaying your name or alias, country of origin, and other provided details on the public leaderboard.
• Sending a verification email to confirm your leaderboard participation.

Anonymous traffic data is used to analyze usage patterns and improve the Bible Quiz’s functionality.

3.3 Third-Party Vendors

We use the following third-party vendors to process certain information:

• DigitalOcean: For app hosting purposes. No PII is shared with DigitalOcean.
• Neon: For database hosting, including storage of user data (such as leaderboard information). PII provided for the leaderboard is stored with Neon solely for the purpose of maintaining the leaderboard and game functionality.
• ZeptoMail: To process email deliveries for leaderboard verification. Only email addresses are shared with ZeptoMail.
• Cloudflare: For performance optimization and bot prevention. No PII is shared with Cloudflare.
• Google Analytics: To capture anonymous website traffic data. No PII is shared with Google Analytics.
• Future Vendors: We may engage additional vendors in the future, but no PII will be shared with them unless explicitly stated in an updated Privacy Policy.

We do not sell your PII to third parties. We only share your email address with ZeptoMail for the purpose of sending verification emails and store PII with Neon for leaderboard purposes.

3.4 Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

3.5 Data Retention

We retain leaderboard-related information for as long as necessary to maintain the leaderboard or until you request deletion. Anonymous traffic data is retained in accordance with the policies of our third-party vendors.

3.6 Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your PII:

• Right to Access: Request a copy of the PII we hold about you.
• Right to Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete PII.
• Right to Deletion: Request deletion of your PII, which will remove you from the leaderboard.
• Right to Opt-Out: Opt out of the sale of your PII (note: we do not sell PII).

3.7 Children’s Privacy

If we learn that PII from a child under 13 has been collected without consent, we will delete it promptly.
